The Doorway Pause

Most of us rush through our days like we’re trying to catch up with our own lives.  From one meeting to the next.  From one room to another.

But there’s a quiet practice that can change the energy of everything you do: Pause at the doorway.

Before walking into your next meeting, conversation, or even your kitchen — stop.  Take one full breath.  Let your awareness arrive before your body moves forward.

That small pause resets your nervous system.  It signals to your mind and everyone around you: something different is happening here.

You don’t have to announce it. You just have to feel it.  That one breath can shift the tone of a room, the pace of a conversation, or the quality of your own attention.

Try it today — the next doorway you cross might lead you home.
